Warranty terms for every MAXXMA product line. Cover applies only to work carried out by a MAXXMA dealer or authorised service centre.

7-year warranty

The warranty covers peeling or delamination of the film, or bubbling, within the 7-year warranty period.

The warranty applies only when the film was installed by a MAXXMA dealer or a MAXXMA film installation centre.

If an installation problem appears, please return the vehicle to the dealer or service centre that carried out the work within 7 days.

The warranty protects your film for as long as it is used correctly. Please keep the logo and film code on each installed pane in at least one place per pane.

If the installed film is found to be faulty, the company or the dealer will replace the film with no installation charge during the first 3 years of the warranty.

The warranty benefits apply only to the vehicle owner named on the warranty card and cannot be changed or transferred to anyone else.

Do not raise or lower the windows for 7 days after installation.
Clean the film with water and a mild soap, then dry it with a soft, clean cloth.
Never use a glass cleaner containing ammonia: it damages the film’s surface coating.

Black Panther and Refined: 5 years · Polarized: 7 years

The warranty covers peeling or delamination of the film, deterioration of the metal and composite layers, and bubbling caused by adhesive degradation.
The company covers the film and the full installation labour, at no charge, for damage caused by the film itself during years 1–2 after installation.
In years 3–5 the company replaces the quantity of film that is damaged and is responsible only for damage arising from a defect in the film itself; the customer is responsible for the installer’s labour charge for refitting.
This warranty covers only damage arising from a defect in the product itself, and does not cover damage caused by misuse or by other external factors.

Avoid wiping the filmed areas of the glass for 30 days. Clean with a soft cloth and warm water or a mild soap; a silicone-based film cleaner may be used alongside it, which helps keep the film clear and in good condition.
Never wipe the film with a coarse cloth, a scouring pad or any kind of brush.
Never clean with a glass cleaner that contains ammonia.
Before every clean, check that the cloth or paper you use is free of dust or grit, which can damage or degrade the film’s coating.

ELITE up to 7 years · PRO up to 5 years · Sunroof up to 3 years · Windshield up to 1 year

The warranty covers cracking and peeling of Maxxma Clear Guard automotive paint protection film.

Up to 5 years or 50,000 km for the PRO grade, whichever comes first.

Up to 7 years or 70,000 km for the Elite grade, whichever comes first.

Up to 3 years or 30,000 km for Sunroof film, whichever comes first.

Up to 1 year or 20,000 km for Windshield film, whichever comes first.

This warranty is valid only when the film was installed by a MAXXMA-authorised service centre.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse or improper maintenance.

To claim under the warranty, please present the receipt and a valid warranty form at the time of the claim.

Maxxma reserves the right to make the final decision on any warranty claim.

1-year warranty

The warranty covers peeling or delamination of the film and bubbling caused by adhesive degradation, but excludes lifting of the film at table edges that arises from ordinary use.

This warranty covers only damage arising from a defect in the product itself, and does not cover damage caused by misuse or by other external factors.

Damage from placing heavy objects on the film, which can leave the film indented.
Damage from placing excessively hot objects directly on the film, which can damage the film itself.
