POST-INSTALLATION MAINTENANCE
To keep your film in optimal condition and ensure long-term adhesive durability, please follow these guidelines carefully.
The adhesive takes time to cure and bond with the glass. Rolling windows down too early can cause peeling or permanent creases from rubber weatherstrips.
Heat from the defroster elements can cause trapped moisture under the film to expand, forming bubbles and weakening the adhesive bond.
A slight haze or small water bubbles under the film are a normal part of the drying process. Water will evaporate and the film will clarify completely within 14 to 30 days depending on sunlight and humidity.
Never use glass cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals. Ammonia can dissolve the protective anti-scratch topcoat and degrade the ceramic layer over time.
