The clear, low-reflective Pure Ceramic film reduces glare from the road, wet surfaces and surrounding objects, so lanes and signs stay easy to read and your eyes tire less on long drives.
Infrared is the main source of cabin heat. POLARIZED rejects 99% of infrared on every code and 73–97% of total solar energy depending on the code, so the cabin cools faster and the air conditioning works less.
At 2 mil (50 micron), POLARIZED is thicker than Black Panther and Refined, making it a semi-safety film that helps hold broken glass in place in an accident.
POLARIZED does not interfere with Easy Pass, M-Pass or GPS navigation, so it can go on the windscreen as normal.
4 codes, all with the same infrared rejection. They differ in darkness and total heat rejection, so you can choose separately for the windscreen, side and rear windows.

MX-PR05 is extra dark for privacy, but its low interior reflectance keeps the outward view usable. If you often drive on dark roads or have trouble seeing in low light, fit a brighter code such as MX-PR40 or MX-PR60 on the windscreen.
Polarized is 2 mil (50 micron) thick, more than the 1.5 mil of Black Panther and Refined, which makes it a semi-safety film. In an accident it helps hold broken glass in place so it is less dangerous.
MX-PR05, MX-PR20 and MX-PR40 are certified with the No. 5 energy saving film label. MX-PR60 is not on the certified list.

The adhesive takes time to cure and bond with the glass. Rolling windows down too early can cause peeling or permanent creases from rubber weatherstrips.
Heat from the defroster elements can cause trapped moisture under the film to expand, forming bubbles and weakening the adhesive bond.
A slight haze or small water bubbles under the film are a normal part of the drying process. Water will evaporate and the film will clarify completely within 14 to 30 days depending on sunlight and humidity.
Never use glass cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals. Ammonia dissolves the protective anti-scratch topcoat and degrades the ceramic layer over time.
